Matt is a dedicated bodybuilder and online coach preparing for an upcoming competition. With his physique dialled in and energy focused, he wanted to mark this stage of his prep with high-impact content that would serve both as a personal milestone and a powerful branding tool. As a coach who leads by example, capturing his condition, intensity, and presence on camera was key to reinforcing his credibility and connection with his audience.
The aim of the shoot was to create a content package that not only showcased Matt’s near-stage-ready physique, but also aligned with his identity as a coach and athlete. He needed versatile content—images to elevate his personal brand and reels that could engage, inspire, and add value across his platforms. The shoot was about more than aesthetics—it was about documenting the discipline and drive behind his journey to the stage.
To match Matt’s energy and coaching presence, the direction focused on bold, punchy visuals that highlighted muscle detail and stage conditioning. We used a mix of dramatic lighting and tighter framing to bring intensity into the shots, while also capturing some raw, behind-the-scenes moments to reflect his coaching style and authenticity. For the video content, we leaned into cinematic movement—emphasising control, strength, and the routine of an athlete in peak form. The balance between high-performance visuals and relatable content was key.
Matt received a full photo and video package: a selection of professionally edited stills showcasing his physique at various angles, short-form reels optimised for Instagram and TikTok, and a longer-form video that captured the grit and focus of his prep. The content was curated to be both visually striking and strategically useful—perfect for brand partnerships, client acquisition, and personal storytelling. The result was a clean, cohesive visual portfolio that reflects Matt’s work ethic, passion, and leadership in the fitness space.
